With views across the estuary, it’s only fitting our rooms are named after sailing boat categories.
Choose from one of the popular Dragon rooms, many with Juliette balconies and views across South Sands beach below, or our sea view Yawl room (18) with a walk in shower. Push the boat out with our impressive J-Class room, complete with a Caesar size bed, two roll top baths and a private sea view balcony, allowing you to experience South Sands at its finest.
J-Class Room 10
The J-Class Room is our largest and finest room at South Sands. It is furnished with a Caesar size bed (8ft wide), an ottoman, two large armchairs, and a desk/dressing table with a stool.
This impressive room features two stand-alone roll top baths in the bay window of the bedroom where you can overlook the estuary and beach while sipping on a glass of bubbly. Experience stunning sunrises and relaxed evenings from the privacy of your large sea view balcony , complete with an outdoor heater, making it a perfect space to relax with fantastic views, even in the chilly months.
With ample room for 2 J-Beds or cots on request, the J-Class Room is perfect for family holidays or makes a spacious room for couples to relax and enjoy special moments together.
Adjacent to Dragon Room 9, on request, the two balconies can join, creating one long balcony and communal space for family and friends.

Dragon Room 7
Dragon Room 7 is a large super king sea view room, spanning the width of the hotel on the first floor. It is furnished with a super king size bed, two armchairs, an ottoman, a desk/dressing table with a stool and a Juliette balcony overlooking the beach and estuary.

Dragon Room 8
Dragon Room 8 is a sea view room. It is furnished with a super king size bed facing towards the spectacular sea view, which can be split into twin beds on request. The room also features two armchairs, an ottoman, desk/dressing table with a stool and two Juliette balconies with stunning views over the beach and estuary. With space for two extra beds or a cot on request , this room is ideal for young families or a spacious choice for a couple.

Dragon Room 9
Dragon Room 9 is a sea view room with a super king size bed that can be split into twin beds on request. Alongside the super king size bed, the room is furnished with two large armchairs, an ottoman and a desk/dressing table with a stool. This room benefits from a small private balcony with an outdoor heater, making it a perfect space to relax with fantastic views, even in the chilly months.
On request, the balcony in Room 9 can open up to join the balcony of the adjacent J-Class Room 10 to create a communal outdoor space for families and groups to relax together.

Dragon Room 11
Dragon Room 11 is a large sea view room. It is furnished with a super king size bed, an ottoman, two large armchairs and a desk/dressing table with a stool. Dragon Room 11 has a roll top bath in the bedroom as well as an en-suite with a large walk in shower. Two Juliette balconies allow for sweeping views across the beach and estuary.
There is ample space for a cot or J-Bed making Dragon Room 11 ideal for a young family or a spacious choice for a couple.

Dragon Room 17 is a sea view room. It is furnished with a king size bed, two armchairs, an ottoman, a desk/dressing table with a stool and has a Juliette balcony with stunning views over the beach and estuary. The skylit en-suite offers a slipper bath and a large walk in shower.

Dragon Room 19 is one of our sea view rooms. Yawl Room 18 is our smallest sea view room. It is furnished with a king size bed, an armchair, a desk/dressing table with a stool and a Juliette balcony with stunning views over the beach and estuary.
